We continued our Monmouth walk past many lovely historic pubs. One of them, the Robin Hood, was established in 1590! We made our way to the Monnow Bridge. It has a 13th century gatehouse which is very impressive. Over the years, the gatehouse has served as a toll house, guardroom, gaol and dwelling house.
